The Haarlemsche Jachtclub is on a new location on the Mooie Nel. If you sail from
the Spaarne on to the Mooie Nel you will find our new harbour direct on your
right hand side. You are very welcome there. We will provide bikes so that
the city stays within easy reach. It is quiet, wit a beautiful surrounding.
Dear visitor,
The Haarlemsche Jachtclub welcomes you to Haarlem. (and invites you to stay longer than you'd planned!) The harbourmaster will assist you in any way he can.
In this harbour you can find different facilities and they are free:

Lavatory (in the hallway of the clubhouse open 24 hours a day)

Showers (open between 07.30 - 22.30)

Drinking water on the pontoons
-
Waste container next to the entrance
-
Intake of oil and filters
-
bicycles available
The clubhouse: Our clubhouse is open between 08.00 - 22.30. The bar is open from Monday till Friday between 10.00 - 10.30, 12.00 - 13.00 and 15.00 - 15.30. Saturday and Sunday from 12.00 -18.00. (Depending on volunteers) When there are enough people the bar will be open in the evening also.
The entrance gate: The harbour is closed between 22.30 and 08.00. Would you like to enter outside these times, a key can be borrowed for € 12.50, which you will get back on returning the key.
It is not allowed:

To ride your bike on the pontoon

To clean your boat with drinking water

To let your dog run loose. Let him out outside the harbour.
Sightseeing: The cosy town centre of Haarlem with lots of shops, Frans Hals museum, Teylersmuseum, Verweyhal (museum for modern art), Vleeshal(different kinds of exhibitions), the St. Bavochurch, several cinema's, Corrie Ten Boom museum and the city hall. At the
Verwulft in front of the big departmentstore V&D is a tourist office (VVV).

Zandvoort / Bloemendaal: a day at the beach, an evening
at the casino, the Centerparcs Zandvoort swimmingpool, racetrack Zandvoort, the circustheater with games for young and old, the National Park Zuid-Kennemerland.
Surroundings: The eastern market in Beverwijk (bus), Amsterdam (easy to reach by train), Linnaeushof Bennebroek (biggest playground in Europe and easy to reach by bus), Space Expo Noordwijk (bus), pumping station museum Cruquius(bus).
As you see, a few days at the Haarlemsche Jachtclub gives you the opportunity to visit Haarlem and its surroundings.
